# Hotkeys

A complete overview of all keyboard shortcuts in klarvoice — and how to customize them.

## All Default Shortcuts

## Customizing the Recording Hotkey

1. Open **Settings → Hotkey**.
2. Click the input field next to **Recording Hotkey**.
3. Press your desired key combination.
4. The shortcut is saved immediately — no confirmation needed.

## Push-to-Talk vs. Toggle

- **Toggle (default):** Press once to start, press again to stop.
- **Push-to-Talk:** Hold the hotkey while speaking. Releasing stops the recording.

> **Tip:** If you use klarvoice heavily, consider a dedicated shortcut on a rarely-used key like `F7` or `F8`.
